Hi! I’m Ceren—an interdisciplinary designer, urban planner, artist, dancer, traveler, and experimenter with an unending curiosity for the world and all its beings. My work moves across disciplines, connecting interaction design, urban planning, industrial design, and graphic design, from large-scale urban systems to the micro-interactions that shape everyday experiences.
I see design as a way to explore relationships—between people, places, and materials. My approach is fluid and adaptable, guided by needs, ideas, and imagination rather than restricted by tools, scales, or disciplinary boundaries. I believe design should respond to its context with care, flexibility, and intention.
I’m particularly interested in sustainability and multispecies perspectives, experimenting with eco-friendly materials like bioplastics and using embodied movement to explore empathy in design. My projects question how we engage with the world physically and emotionally, inviting new forms of interaction and understanding.
While I recognize the global challenges we face, I approach my work without the weight of pessimism or the naivety of optimism. Instead, I stay focused on creating thoughtful interventions—designs that challenge assumptions, build connection, and open up possibilities.
I am deeply committed to teaching and collaboration—not just as ways to share knowledge but as opportunities to learn together. I value transparent relationships, meaningful conversations, and creative communities built on trust and curiosity.
If you’re interested in design that crosses boundaries, embraces diversity, and explores new ways of seeing and making, I’d love to connect.
